Kontra Chess Beta Program

@NobodyReally

Great comment! That gave me a good laugh. Glad you brought up the legality issue -- actually skilled gambling is allowed in all but 13 countries -- and since chess is 100% skill-based, we will be good to go in just about all relevant territories. On KC, when the hard-currency product hits the market, you will be able to play for an entry stake of around 10 cents -- I don't think any is going to come looking to for you to beat you up over that :)... But the main point of course, is that just like in online poker, you should only play for what you feel comfortable losing. And needless to say, you will be much safer taking down the (former) Yugoslavians and Hungarians from the comfort of your mouse and keyboard!
I don't know, it just feels like a Weebly site which anyone can make and keeping in mind that there are a lot of trolls in this forum.
I am no programmer (well, not professionally at least, i just dabble) but i just looked at the page source for the index page and i could almost visualize the whole inner site and its workings without even having access to it, every single little detail about the site and its workings is right there in the current (login/request/index) page. which is very strange.

anyways, just an observation.
@NobodyReally chess players usually are :) I would be too.. I'm guessing you will not be an "early adopter," but hopefully you will give it try further down the line. Cheers!
@NemPlayer I didn't know about the trolls -- actually I've never posted here before. Once you get past registration, the site looks pretty great, actually, and it we are still in the early stages. Seems like you won't be joining our beta program, but hopefully you'll give it a try when we are more established.
Tomorrow? Why? What is the point in asking here for people to test if you make them wait?
