Kontra Chess Beta Program

@mCoombes314 regarding your statement on cheating, several notable GMs have reviewed our plan for cheating, and a few are even helping us to build our solution... We are taking fair play to a whole new level.
Guys, hop in my plane! Sure, I never really piloted a plane before, but I can tell you my flying is going to be the safest ever. I can't give you details about it, but it will break the news!

Come on. Help us take you seriously, here. You can't pretend to do better against cheating, than sites that have been fighting the fight for years, over hundreds of millions of games.
@thibault, we are in closed beta now. there is nothing to risk. "My plane" will not be taking flight just yet. When we are cleared for take off, we will demonstrate and explain how our anti cheat works. Right now it is in development. Sorry I can't give you more info at this point. But like I said, I'm not asking anyone to risk anything. Im simply looking for interested players who want to be a part of something that will be really cool and exciting for the chess world.
As a potential user I need to know some things first:

1.) what can your site offer me what lichess can't?*
2.) what does lichess provide what your service doesn't?*

*in both cases, quality is a factor

if the list of answers to question 2 is longer (or more relevant) than the list of answers to question 1, then I have bad news for you!

Also keep in mind, that a huge community of players is very important. If a 2400 FIDE Elo player has to wait forever to find an equal opponent, then he might leave and never come back.
And also what #2 said i totally right: the start page of your website does not tell the user anything about the service it is providing. Is it a chess server? Is it a tactic trainer? Is it a service to watch live master games? Is it a service to create chess diagrams? The answer is nowhere to be found.
@scuffi Valid points. At this point we are in the very early stages of the product. It is a chess platform, which incorporates elements of poker via a unique in-game betting system which is based on the way street chess is played in Budapest Hungary, but in no way alters the rules of chess -- no gimmicks. Basically, we want to give chess players around the world more of a chance to go pro -- in the same way that skilled online poker players can. In fact, we're aiming to be the pokerstars of chess. And the game play is seriously adrenaline infused, and exhilarating to play -- if you don't mind pressure. It will be balanced for all skill levels, but if I'm being honest, I think it won't be very popular among players below 1500 ELO. if you've ever wanted a platform that captures the street chess experience, this is it. I'm glad to show it to anyone who want to try it -- just PM your email, and I'll get you approved.

With regards to Lichess -- I love lichess, and even when Kontra Chess is up and running, I'll still play here -- it's a different experience.
@pokolfajzat

These are all the reasons why I think your site is fake:
1) I never heard of this project anywhere else, I doubt it you would be so secretive if you have a lot of innovations or at least start a kickstarter.
2) No HTTPS, it says Not secure
3) You said that you have an AI that automatically searches for cheaters and readjusts it's system, which sounds really cool, but isn't really possible.. You would need to gather all of the information from the computer to see any differences between cheaters and non-cheaters and it would be really hard to even find differences that matter. It's basically impossible as of now.
4) Even if you made that "really smart AI", players at the start would lose games because of cheaters as it wouldn't get detected at the start and players would always find new ways of cheating.
5) You only have registration page on your site, no info or about or anything.

These are all of the reasons that I think you are making this up and only want passwords.

Of course, I might be wrong and correct me if I am.
@scuffi and with regards to the #2 comment -- i totally agree, a registration redesign is on the way this week. Up until now, we've been trying not to give away many details to avoid copycats. now that we're further along we will begin to do so. It's a serious challenge promoting a secret! :D If you have any advice on that, I'm all ears. Cheers and thanks for your 2 cents. -Pepe
If you are playing for money I think the cheating detection has to be very good to detect cheaters on the fly. lichess is claiming to have the most comprehensive cheat detection system (I have no idea myself). Still there are many cheaters that can play many games before getting caught.
@NemPlayer

1) If you want to play on the site, it can be arranged. It is very much not fake. No kickstarter, because we want to avoid copycats, as I've stated a few times already in this thread.

2) RE: https -- I have addressed this in the comments above.

3) It is possible and we are doing it -- but the most innovative part of the system actually has nothing to do with AI. The AI part helps with automating the system.

4) our fair play solution also prevents sandbagging and other kinds of cheating -- all will be revealed soon.

5) -- see above comments.

Only want passwords... hmm -- check my profile here. Number of games I've played. I'm a real chess player, and I love Lichess - I wouldn't risk that for a scam. but that's just my word I'm giving at the end of that day. So here's what I can suggest: register, with a password you never use, 12345, something like that, check out our site, then you tell me if we're legit.
