Kontra Chess Beta Program

@pokolfajzat if the point of this thread is not to defend your product against criticism, why not... stop defending it against criticism ?

What is the money platform? bitcoins? paypal? some kind of your own site wallet?

@dstark -- now it's only soft currency, but coming in a few months is real money cash in/out and probably Etherium for crypto.

You certainly captured my curiosity. If you don't mind me asking:

1) Is your cheat-detection solely based on the move sequence, or does it require other data as well (mouse movements, webcam, being vouched by other "trusted" players, etc.?)

2) Will the code be open sourced at one point, or will you require participants to be called cheaters based on a because-we-say-so argument?

I wish you good luck with your venture, but I am staying far from your site for now...

@pokolfajzat honestly.. you should first make a youtube video about it. how it looks like when playing.. when navigating etc.

@Kitty-Meow Yes, that is in the plans. Currently in talks with a few well known youtubers.

@MaartenT Our first product will be soft currency, so you can check out how the hard currency model will work. That means you will play with zero financial risk/reward. We will make our cheat solution public soon enough. I want to tell you about it, more than you want to know about it, but for now it is what it is. But again, trust factor is not really an issue at this point. We're looking for beta testers who want to get in early, be a part of building something great for the chess world, and be rewarded accordingly. That's it, that's all.

UPDATE: we now 120 beta testers. We are looking to get up to 1,000 by september! Since starting this post, Kontra Chess has added:

- Premove
- Player profiles
- leaderboards
- 10 new board colors
- Match replay (real time, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and click)
- 30 second matches
- Download game pgns
and a bunch more.
