I want to agree that developing skill and joy important that rating but if i will play always with equal or weaker players thatn me, how may i improve my skill. Unfortunately in accordance with algorithm of Lichess like platforms, doesnt allow to play stronger players than you (if you have no over rated friends who can accept your challenges). This is a dilemma i guess also.
