This was not a great game (apologies to my poor bishop on d3, whom I blundered twice), but its finale was extraordinary:

All white's pieces were en prise after 43.Kh2!, but none of them could be taken. And the final mate was also special.

He didn't play 8...h6, what a sick psychopath

Yeah, that did ruin the symmetry.

If Black had played 8...h6, his king would not get through h6 to such a dangerous area later on.

hm Nice response to strange beginning, I like when such extraordinary play for black get punushed in the same way due that he doesn't takes game seriously
