Lichess is great , I love to analyze games and to play chess here .

If you want to earn money by playing blitz there is a website www.velocitychess.com/ (I do not recommend it), it's just like a poker website, where you bet on every game you play. I have never tried it because lichess is the greatest site in the world, gg I am out.

"Virtual currency". So I am guessing you use real money to buy virtual currency, which is locked to the website forever. Sounds like a blast.

Yeah, some people complain for not getting paid and the main admin (he is GM) blames those people for cheating. As you can suspect when it involves money, people try to cheat A LOT, so some get paid, some don't, but why even bother if we can chill at lichess
