I've used lichess in edge, chrome, Firefox, Samsung internet and many others and have never had a compatibility problem with any of those browsers

I'm probably the only Lichess staff to have used it, and I stopped using it. A cursory read of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivaldi_(web_browser) should indicate why Vivaldi is free software and Opera is not.
