Both did extremely well but one had to win and Ding won! Congrats for making it this far Ian and congrats to Ding for winning!
Lame, although of course nepomniashij would be lame too. Why couldn't Magnus just lose to caruana or someone good.

If you want to see the moon, dont look at my finger pointing to it. Instead, raise your head and follow that finger and high above, you will be able to see it. ;-)

BTW: IMHO, success in chess is strongly coupled to having a well developed sense of justice and fairness, because way before logic kicks in, you FEEL, if a position is in balance or not, and that feeling triggers the minds search for continuations proving your feeling right.

End of preaching. Amen ;-)
What about leak preparations of ding?
Is it part of his strategy to mislead Nepo?

We'll never know, but I don't think this suits Ding's personality to use that kind of tactics... How sure are we preparations did leak anyway!? Fact or fiction?

That would mean Immanuel Kant was right, but he wasn't. Chess is practice, so it's rather the other way round I think. I can't formulate as nice as you did, but IMHO... ;)
