Tips for Racing Kings?

Hello,

I started chess last year and have since always played normal chess (this is the type of chess that I find most fun).

Recently, I started playing a few variants for fun in my spare time to get something different and played racing kings. I am about 1650 in RK and am wondering if there are any tips that there are to get higher rated and get better at this variant.

Important Tip: Never move rooks on the 1st move
