Unsportive behaviour by my opponent

I could have checkmated my opponent in ONE move and so he checked me continuously for the rest of the game and the game ended up as a draw. I gained 4 points but I could have gained much more if he wouldn't have been so unsportive.
You can't expect a losing player to cooperate. Why would they? You would rather draw than lose, wouldn't you?
There is nothing unsportsmanlike about your opponent's behaviour.
The final position is still won for you. You should bring your king to safety over e1 and f2.
In fact, for example after 41.Kf4 (instead of 41.Kd2), White escapes checks (41..g5+ 42.Qxg5+). The position is then completey won and checkmate follows.

It would have been up to you to find the right moves in order to win this game.
Perpetual check is part of chess rules. Just play better.
Oh ok thanks. I thought there was no place where the king could have escaped from check haha.

In this game yes, the opponent has been really unsportive, although I know the most important thing is winning. He let his time run out, but since I always gave him more seconds he just left the game. I always prefer to finish the games completely.

I was blacks btw
It's a common resource,

In this position for example, the black pieces are gonna try to give a lot of checks sacrificing their rook. If you take it, then it is a draw, we call this theme "Torre rabiosa" in Spanish, which translates to something like "The mad rook". Having a better position in chess isn't enough to win sometimes. Don't take it personal.
Thanks Paulcarrero, I thought that was an unsportive behaviour, but I was wrong apparently.
