my first evans gambit

i probably played pretty badly on this game but it is my first time with this opening so... how did i do and how do i get better?

castle instead of playing queen b3 on move 7

7 O-O or 7 cxd4 are more logical.
8 O-O was still possible.

Don't hang material. Everything looked fine for a bit until that really horrible Queen takes Rook in the end there which allowed mate in 2 by undefending the f7 pawn.
