If other chess websites made it already, I doubt the lichess.org team will add it.
But lichess added other variants, so why can't you add more thibault?
There are reasons as to why 4-player games are not implemented. Staff stated multiple times it won't happen
As said before, Lichess will not be implementing new variants.
don't play variants so i literally dont care

Lichess won't add any new variants anytime soon, but if you want bughouse, you can play it on FICS or chess.com.
www.pychess.org will add bughouse by next year too.
