Have you seen famous art at a museum?

I wish I could go again if there was not so much crime.

In the past I had looked at

Studio glass by Dale Chihuly
mobiles of Alexander Calder
Jackson Pollock
Salvador Dali
mixed media of Howard Finster
pottery George Ohr
mixed media Thornton Dial
Perhaps not famous in the sense you intended.... if ever in the Phoenix area, visit the Musical Instrument Museum. (MIM) they have amazing displays from around the world with many indigenous samples. One can spend a couple days there.

Smaller art venues are tremendous. Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson blew me away with their collection in mid 2010s'.

As a resident of Earth, you will have several billion options to peruse.
I have been to The MET in NY & yes the Museum of Music is Interactive in Phoenix
Though not really featuring famous artists ( unless you're familiar with George Littlechild) the Amerindian museum near Dragoon Arizona is a fascinating place to visit. Exhibits feature many historical works of art and handicrafts by Native Americans and leaves you with an impression of just how accomplished these people were. The Native Americans were not ( and are not) a primitive people by any means.
I visited once the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. Most famous picutre was of course the Mona Lisa in the Louvre.
