How did come up with your name?

so a person from the netherlands (aka holland) is called a dutch
well that's innovative to say the least
But i guess its better that way
Imagine if we would say the 1.d4 f5 the Netherlander Defence? Its too big

That's just in English though, they are in fact called nederlanders or similar in many other languages (including in Dutch I believe).

I don't know how Dutch came to be used specifically for people from the Netherlands in English, but I do know it shares an origin with the German name for Germany, Deutschland. Both come from an Old German word meaning nation, or group of people, or something similar.

Was not even a big fan of his but I immediately fell in love with the phrase "like a wizard". Used to have it as a chat spam in quake live for a long time and eventually started to use it as a nickname for various accounts. Plus wizards are cool.

@MorningCoffee I think when you refer to the people from the Netherlands, you call them the Dutch. But I don't know how you call one person from the Netherlands, maybe a Dutchie or something??
