I have noticed that when I win a game, I gain between 4-7 points depending on the rating of my opponent. But often, not always, my opponent receives +11 points when they beat me. Even though they are 100+ above me in rating. And it's not that they are "unrated". Often they have hundreds or even thousands of games (one guy I think almost had 10k).
If the rating would have been reversed, i.e if I was the one with 100+ rating on my opponent, and if I would have won, I would only have gained 4 points. But they receive 11.
Why is that?
