I totally agree. It's awesome. I was searching for a program for my mac and I ended up with Lichess. Until now I only played against the engine. Level 1-3 not really challenging for me as hobby chess player. I will try the next level.
Play the hoomans too!
This is not what I expected.
Before I start to play against human players I need more practice because I stopped playing chess for a long period of time. I guess the players here are all very strong, isn’’t it?
@Boris_SP There's players of all strengths. The absolute minimum is about 600 and the absolute maximum is 2800+ with even the current World Champion playing on the site. Most players are inbetween. You should be good to play other human players!
@Boris_SP I hadn't played in forever and my first human opponent was 1700+ rating and they stalemated up two queens, so there's hope! Mostly been losing to 1200 since then, so there's a lot of noobs too. :)

As seen here some go much higher than 2800:
lichess.org/player (world champ top left with 3270, I believe).
