Frightened of pushing myself, I've found a solution

For the most part I've been doing the pussles, a handfull of corresponces game and just a few shorter ones. Since christmas is coming I've made me a christmas calendar challange: One game des 1st, 2 games des 2nd aso. 2,5 hours evey day, ending with 24 3 minute games on christmas eve.

Herhaps it's just me. Perhaps it's an idea for others as well. Wish me luck.
That's a good way to do it, perhaps. I never had a problem initially with playing quite a few classical games in a row, but when I actually established my rating, I became very scared of losing lots of rating points by trying to push for wins and ended up only playing classical when I felt confident. Your solution might be one to try. Good luck!

Good luck ! :)

And just curious : what exactly do you want to achieve ?

Better chess content ?
Better chess results ?
Higher chess ratings ?
More fun chess played ?
More beautiful chess played ?

I want to challenge how I handle consentration, reactivity, stress, endurance and defeat :)
I think you should player bullet and hyperbullet games. Your longer games will seem much more relaxed after that
