I find that only if I am quoted that I get notified, but not when someone adds to the thread. why not always in a thread I'm following?
Because that would quickly clog up your inbox.

Just check the thread, if every reply appeared in your inbox anything else you would want to track not in the forums would be lost in your inbox.

Friends already exist.
You do not need notifications for what other people do. The notifications are supposed to be for or about you only.

I think you're supposed to see those in your Timeline, that no one looks at :) If you install LiChess Tools you will get a notification when you have new things in your Timeline.
I keep forgetting that Friend TV and Streamer TV are part of Lichess Tools... I'd heard about this plugin many times, but that feature convinced me to finally install it.

Werent u interrested in playing endgame vs cpu ? But cpu want playing more combative move on losing position ? Because lichess tool provide an efficient way to do it also !

No, but u Can pratice for exemple k+p vs k on defending side in a theorically draw position without CPU just pushing his pawn without even trying to defend it and letting you capture it easily. Such that you Can train opposition which is IMPOSSIBLE vs lichess practice vs CPU.
