Rankings

Hi everybody I see in people's profiles that some people have rankings and some do not? Is there a certain number of games you have to play to get a ranking? What do you need to do for a ranking? I see my classical rating is right now 2200+ so should I bee in the top 100 rank? Plz answer quickly! Also sorry for any bad grammar I have a broken arm. And I cannot post this in the question/answer section because I am a new member! :)

Hi,
You need to make sure that the "?" behind your ratings dissappear.
After that you will be in a top 100 or something.
But if you don't play e.g. classical for a while, you will lose that ranking (and perhaps a trophy).

On Fics chess server this was very clear with the RD (rating deviation), which had to be under 80.
Here on Lichess I do not know how many games it takes before your rating is "active".

G L & H F ! :)
Thank you Albert now we are both going to be top 100 after the question mark goes away... If my rating does not drop;) HF as well ;)
#2 Here, you need to have a RD less than 110 in order to have an "active" rating. You can see your RD by hovering over your rating in your profile.

Also, for trophies, I believe you need to have been active within the past 2 weeks.
#1 Even a broken arm cannot stop the amazing canadaprodigy900! I'm impressed you were able to type so much!
Srpski :
Moj rejting se ne menja od kako sam počeo da igram na ovom sajtu uvek je 1500. Ako pobeđujem ili ređe gubim ništa se ne menja.?U čemu je problem?
Or Englsh :
My rating is not changed since I started playing on this site is always 1500. If you are winning or losing less often nothing changes.? What is the problem?

If you want a rating you should start playing "rated" instead of "casual".

And try the tourneys. Great fun. Lichess has imho the most exciting tourney formula ever !

my questionmark have disapaired but i still got no ranking in both classical and blitz...
